Could you be the full-time Group Manager Hardware Technology in Stockholm we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your knowledge and innovative expertise in a new cutting-edge field, and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.

You'll responsible for managing a team consists of several types of specialists in Platforms development, including Component Engineers, EcoDesign and Mechanical Engineer, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals. Each of these disciplines face specific challenges in their fields and in the larger Alstom context, where your support as a manager will be crucial for the success and effectiveness of the entire organization. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Lead and manage a team of Component, EcoDesign and Mechanical engineers to achieve goals in embedded electronic platforms development for rail signalling

  • Develop and implement innovative software solutions to complex problems in rail signalling

  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of software deliverables for embedded systems

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes diversity and inclusion

  • Manage capacity and competence planning in close collaboration with development programs

  • Drive continuous improvements

  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

All about you

  • Degree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related field of Engineering

  • Strong experience in electronics, mechanical or sustainability engineering

  • Great leadership and team management skills

  • Confidence with mentoring and developing team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion

  • English at a fluent level is mandatory for this role, Swedish will be considered a plus.
