Could you be the full-time Program Planner in Stockholm or Vasteras we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with a Program Manager and Sub-System Manager, owner of time management topic for his area, providing proper time management information to support decision-making to reach the program's expected OTD performance. You’ll specifically take care of internal project schedules and formulate counter-risk action plans.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Build the program schedule for his area based on internal standard WBS, contractual targets, and data provided by all stakeholders.

  • Contribute with the Finance Project Manager to Earned Value Management.

  • Participate in the validation of the program baseline.

  • Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders’ commitments and manage the schedules interfaces.

  • Perform schedule analysis & trade-offs to close identified gaps or schedule issues.

  • Organize and lead periodic project schedule sessions for his area.

  • Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline.

  • Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to the schedule.

  • Prepare schedule and progress reports.

  • Provide support to sub-system manager on all issues related to sub-system program schedule.

  • Monitor and review the interfaces between Program and Projects.

  • Apply the Program Scheduling Process.

  • Promote time management practices awareness in the project team.

  • Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates.

  • Degree in Engineering

  • Project management and industrial background

  • Knowledge of internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interface

  • Knowledge of different scheduling tools (Primavera or Microsoft Project), especially for project scheduling processes

  • Basic overall knowledge of railway products, and good knowledge of the sub-system

  • Agility to juggle with schedules simulations, various scenarios, and changing project goals

  • Rigorous, structured, and sense of anticipation

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker

  • Good at conflict management and multi-tasking

  • Be able to challenge sub-system team and highly proactive in proposing solutions

  • Comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment
