Business Manager Automation and Maintenance

The AIS Division is gearing up for exciting challenges. Would you like to be part?

We are recruiting a Business Manager for the Automation and Maintenance segment.

The position enables us to continue our sustainable profitable growth mission for the respective business segment and products. The success is measured in revenues and profitability, as well as Customer satisfaction.

The Business Manager will contribute to the business development of the Division and to the assigned business segments of automation business development, and maintenance, both reactive and proactive. This will be done through active collaboration with Customer Centers and key customers by promoting our solutions and added value, building competence, and continuous collaboration with the R&D team to initiate new products and solutions.

The role reports to the VP Marketing SCE and leads a team of three Product Managers and a Global Key Account Manager.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Drive, manage, and coordinate the respective business to secure sustainable profitable growth and reach a leading position in the market/segment

  • Drive strategy to develop business segments in alignment with the overall strategic direction

  • Identify market needs and trends, and develop business cases in collaboration with the Customer Centers for new product development as part of the Strategic Product Planning (SPP)

  • Understand customer needs, and be actively engaged in the Product Development Process (PDP)

  • Plan and execute successful product launches for respective business

  • Create and share marketing materials about business segment, covering products, application references, competition, etc. and promote content in digital channels

  • Develop and perform trainings, seminars and workshops for knowledge and competence development of the organization having special attention to the Service-Sales Learning Journey.

  • Actively drive communication and cooperate with Customer Centers and key accounts

  • Work cross-functionally and closely collaborate with:

    • Customers Centers

    • Global Key account managers

    • Application Centers

    • Marketing Communications on product launches

    • Other Marketing teams in ITBA (GI/MVI/IAS/MVS)

We´d like you to bring:

  • Bachelor's or master´s degree in engineering and/or marketing

  • Solid experience from global product and/or business segment management

  • Understanding in marketing and business development

  • Understanding in exploring, creating, and communicating customer value

  • Project management and cross-functional teamwork

  • Excellent communication skills in the English language speaking and writing

Preferred location for the position is Stockholm, but other locations within Europe could be considered. In case a candidate from a different Home Country applies and is successful, then Global Transfer Terms and Conditions will apply (Local+).

25% travel availability is required.
