Welcome onboard on an exciting journey developing BETTER FIBERS TO ALL. The purpose of the company TreeToTextile is to develop and industrialize a new innovative cellulosic fiber technology that will provide textile fibers with good sustainability performance at an attractive cost-level: A gamechanger for the textile industry. Our novel technology uses renewable forest raw material and regenerates the cellulose into a textile fiber.
We are a growing company now building up a new team within R&D and are looking for you as Senior Pulp Specialist. Join our great team in the effort of creating a more sustainable fiber for the global textile market!
This is a full-time permanent position located at the new R&D Center of TreeToTextile in GoCo Health Innovation City in Mölndal, close to Gothenburg.
Responsibilities

Responsible for the strategy and the technology development within R&D area: Pulp and spin-dope development

Innovate and project lead the specific R&D area towards new innovation/patents

Identify and develop external collaborations to support the R&D area

Contribute to an internal cross-functional team
Your Profile
-
PhD in chemistry/organic chemistry, chemical engineering, materials, or related fields
-
You have deep and comprehensive knowledge and proven experience about wood-based pulps, dissolution and regeneration of cellulose, and cellulose chemistry
-
You have worked with applied research in a global context, in a senior researcher role with strategic focus and used to collaborate internally and externally

You have broad experience in R&D work and enjoy working between theory and practice to contribute to the development within many areas
